Raw Food Repeat                                                           I decided to repost this , because the choice to eat more raw foods as helped my Osteonecrosis pain and inflammation.             I know for a fact it has helped my pain. 



If I could find something for my Spondylolithesis in my back to help my pain I’d be a pretty happy camper. 

 

 I know many :                                                     find dealing with constant nagging debilitating bone pain want some sort of relief and I can’t say it will work for everyone, but I’m here to say it’s worth a shot. 
So I chose to repeat this blog from a few weeks ago. 
Because many people don’t realize that since poor choices of  food can harm you and cause more inflammation.                                          And more inflammation means more pain and more chance of disease in the body
So healthy food , fruit , veggies can help lower inflammation in the body = less pain. 

If you want to try more raw foods it’s always best to get the ok from your doctor 

If you do get the ok start by


Half your plate being raw every meal , everyday , it will help prevent excess gas and bloat


I even enjoy a good salad for breakfast

How I started my new love for plant based eating: But I do cheat now and then

Going more plant based was about me taking smart, small steps for the long haul, until I was comfortable and then I would add more and more plant based foods until I built a lifestyle that I ultimately love so much that my momentum will roll on for years in almost effortless fashion. And every journey is better shared with friends who support you, listen to you and cheerlead for you, right?
My husband came on board and it made switching from a daily carnivore life easier .
I won’t lie , I’m not 100 percent plant based but I am 85/15.
I wanted to succeed in going to a combination of raw and cooked veggies and some meat protein, but mostly plant based. So at first I just added a salad and fruit to our regular meals, within a couple weeks we were more plant based than anything else.
I did this change to help ease my pain from Osteonecrosis , Spondylolithesis, Osteoarthritis and help rid as much fat in my blood as possible as I also have Factor V Leiden blood disorder. 

For me less inflammation = less pain
My cholesterol dropped by 46 points
I feel better when I am putting good things in my body for fuel vs junk.
Yes I still have pain , but it’s no longer severe every single day. And some days I have no pain at all.
No matter where you are, right now is the time to start. Waiting for the perfect time is the same as making an excuse.
Be sure to keep a food journal to record any ailments you may have before you begin, and then record the changes in your digestion, sleep, mood, etc., each week. This will help you figure out what your body likes and doesn’t like.
You are making a map of where you started, where you’ve been and where you want to go, it’s so important.
Of course never start any new eating plan without first talking to your primary care physician.
Sometimes it can be challenging to learn a new way of eating so everyday I will try and post at least one recipe.

I call this my 

This Anti Inflammatory Salad and Veggie Dressing will wake your taste buds with the sweetness and creaminess and a little kick depending on what hot pepper you use. 

You can also use this dressing to toss through your favourite zuchinni pasta dish or use as a soup!

Add this baby to your favourite salad today.

Ingredients 

(makes approx  30 oz or almost 1 liter )

* 1 red pepper

* 1 medium hot pepper 

* 1 yellow pepper

* 1/4 Cup coconut nectar
* 1 Tablespoons Agave Nectar
                     Or a few drops of stevia if you prefer 

* 1/4 Cup Apple Cider Vinegar

* 3/4 Cup cashews

* 2 cloves garlic

* pinch smoked paprika

* 1-2 Tablespoons fresh grated ginger

* 1/2 Cup olive oil or slightly warmed coconut oil just to melt it. 

Method:

Put all ingredients in a high powered blender and blend until smooth. Adjust to taste. Place in a glass bottle and pour over your salad or any raw food dish.
Will store up to a week in frig. 
Always remember remove seeds to make it less hot to taste.
