This rich and creamy filling, with juicy ripe berries and a crust that’s to die for and I’m telling you it’s easy to make , this is everything you want in a berry tart, right?
It’s actually much easier to make than it looks!
You will make this all the time, it’s so easy and delicious
1 1/2 cup (200 g) all-purpose flour
1/2 cup (50 g) powdered sugar
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup plus 2 Tbsp (10 Tbsp or 140 g) unsalted butter, very-cold, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
1 egg, lightly beaten with a fork
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup (8 oz) mascarpone cheese
1/3 cup (75ml) cold heavy cream
1/3 cup (43 g) powdered sugar
1 teaspoon orange or lemon zest
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 oz (85 g) raspberries
8 oz (225 g) blueberries
10 oz (225 g) strawberries – stems removed and halved or quartered
4 Tbsp (60 ml) apricot jam or orange marmalade. I prefer apricot jam and warm it.
2 Tbsp water
1 teaspoon red wine vinegar or lemon juice
