Happy Groundhog Day 2018

Groundhog Day

On the morning of February 2nd every year large crowds gather at sunrise in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, to wait for the verdict of the famous rodent Punxsutawney Phil the groundhog meteorologist,

They all watch anxiously as Punxsutawney Phil emerges from his burrow.

The tradition says that if it’s sunny the groundhog will see its own shadow and there will be six more weeks of winter and if he doesn’t, spring is on its way.

Well he projected 6 more weeks of winter.

Today in Ohio Buckeye Chuck our famous rodent also predicted 6 more weeks of winter.

And today’s -2 temperature seems to be proving them both right.

Thankfully no matter how we look at it

27 days until S-P-R-I-N-G
